Our kids had a chance to gather together and meet Major General Daryl Bohac, formerly of the Nebraska National Guard. He was visiting Rwanda with his wife, Kristie Bohac, and they were able to talk to the kids and provide much needed encouragement for the remainder of the school year.
Whenever children in Rwanda get together they love to play tag and other games. They are very competitive but enjoy having a few minutes for fun and of course a snack after the activities.
The Major General and his wife were able to visit some of the villages where our students reside and talk to some of the parents. It is always uplifting for them to see that people so far around the world are invested in seeing their kids succeed and have a bright future.
