The land of a thousand hills as commonly referred to, Rwanda indeed has spectacular views of mountain scenery, beautiful landscapes and is considered to be the greenest nations in Africa. 

From economic vantage point, Rwanda is considered to be the next Singapore of Africa.  Considering all the economic growth Rwanda has had since the 1994 genocide, the unity of her people, the infrastructure and the safety, Rwanda truly test for Singapore and other developed nations.

While in Rwanda, you will find many places that offer very astonishing biodiversity with eye-catching flora and fauna that occupy her scenic volcanoes, natural forests and her astounding valleys.

Kigali City: The capital city of Rwanda is rated as the safest city in Africa as well as the clean and greenest of all.

Musanze: This is one of the districts in Rwanda located in the Northern Province. Musanze is the home of Rwanda’s scenic volcanoes. Among the shoulders of these volcanoes is the Volcano National Park where Mountain Gorillas reside.

imagesThis place is always crowded by tourists from all over the world, exploring and getting acquainted with the gorillas. These beautiful creatures are amiable and welcoming and will always be willing to introduce you to their families as long as you are eager to cooperate.

Rubavu district: This place offers an astonishing view of Lake Kivu (the biggest lake in Rwanda). At this side of the country, you get to have relaxing moments while staring at the slow-moving waves in the lake while appreciating the warm shore breeze.

With its warm, clean and friendly little waves, Lake Kivu will offer you the best swimming, boating, canoeing and kayaking experiences.

Karongi: This place is known for its beautiful hills with a bunch of lakes and rivers running through them. Visitors enjoy the soft friendly breeze on the sandy beaches on the shores of these lakes

Nyanza: It was the home of the King’s palace with has ancient sculptures and treasures. 

Huye: Is home to one of the excellent, first-class museums in east Africa. It is called the Ethnographic Museum.

Rusizi: Is the closest stop from Nyungwe National Park, which is a home for many bird species, chimpanzees, orangutan as well as monkeys.

Nyagatare: This place is the closest district to Akagera National Park which is a home for all sorts of animals including; lions, elephants, leopards, zebra, giraffe and others.
