Rwandan’s are committed to building a future that will never lead to the same events of their tragic past. One of the ways they express that is the design of the country’s flag.
The flag consists of blue, yellow and green with a golden sun in the upper right hand section.
The blue is for peace and happiness, things that are so important to this beautiful country. Their future economic stability depends on all the people continuing to work to sustain peace and happiness.
The yellow stands for their desire to develop an economy which will grow and provide a better quality of life for all Rwandans.
Green is for the prosperity they strive for with every resource they possess.
The golden sun of enlightenment shines it rays over the whole dream for Rwanda’s future.
